What it’s like (vol. 1.0)

I just received a couple photos from the 2009 Jacksonville Marathon and thought they might be cool to share. The first photo shows what it is like when about 1,000 people are eagerly waiting for the starter’s gun and I’m in their way. In the pre-dawn hours of the 2009 Jacksonville Marathon, I was working my way to the starting line for a head start while everyone else was already in line. Yes, I was afraid for my life! The second shows how much fun I was having doing the race in Florida’s nearly freezing temperatures the weekend before Christmas. So much for warming up in the Sunshine State then heading north with a tan for 2009 holidays. I hate winter.

Bye.
